To obtain an educational loan from any bank in India, applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria and furnish the following documents:

1. The student must be an Indian national
2. Admission should be secured in a professional/technical course through an entrance test/selection program
3. Admission must be confirmed in a foreign university/institution

1. Mark sheets of the last qualifying examination for school and graduate studies in India
2. . Proof of admission to the course
3. Schedule of expenses related to the course
4. Copies of letters confirming the scholarship (if applicable).
5. Copies of foreign exchange permit, if applicable.
6. Two passport-size photographs
7. Bank statement for the last six months of the borrower
8. Income tax assessment order not more than two years old
9. Brief statements of assets and liabilities of the borrower
